It all started long ago: EFG Bank von Ernst AG in Vaduz was formed from the Liechtenstein-based subsidiary of the former Bank von Ernst & Co AG, founded in 1869 in Berne, Switzerland.

Today, we are part of EFG International, a global private banking group headquartered in Zurich, which is listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange. EFG’s largest shareholder is EFG Bank European Financial Group, controlled by Latsis family interests.

At EFG Bank von Ernst, we provide advice and guidance based on personal relationships that stand the test of time. Our team of professional portfolio managers and investment advisors give our clients the service they expect and deserve.

About the Principality of Liechtenstein

The Principality of Liechtenstein is a constitutional hereditary monarchy on a democratic and parliamentary basis. The power of the state is enshrined in the Prince and the people.

Liechtenstein participates in a customs union with Switzerland and employs the Swiss franc as national currency. It has been a member of the European Economic Area, an organization serving as a bridge between the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) and the European Union since May 1995.

As an internationally recognised financial centre, Liechtenstein offers an established, flexible corporate legal framework, a robust banking law and the benefits of political and economical stability with minimal bureaucracy and low tax rates.
